-for the math quiz, students must be able to
- use les hachures (short lines on the sides) to indicate the sides of the same lengh.
- use les flèches (arrows) to indicate parallel sides.
- use a corner of a square recognize right angles and use a small square to indicate them on figures.
- describe figures using their name and different attributes (parallel sides, length of sides, different angles, number of sides/vertices/angles)
- recognize congruent shapes.
- draw figures on point grid sheets using a ruler according to descriptions.
Today's homework should help prepare students for this quiz.

- for the science toy making project, the following are the success criteria.
- Students must make the toy at school. No project done at home will be graded.
- Materials should be brought to school from home. Students can be provided with at school the following items. - Popsicle sticks, elastic bands, construction paper, cardboard, rulers, scissors, different types of glues including hot glue (teacher will assist), tapes, strings, clips, toothpicks.
- The toy must use three different forces learned in class and students should be able to explain and demonstrate.
- The toy is creative, fun, clean and visually appealing!
